Ukraine's Exchange Rates See Slight Shifts Amid Government Budget Plans

The National Bank of Ukraine has released updated exchange rates for major foreign currencies as of August 18. The US dollar saw a slight decrease, dropping to 44.69 UAH from 44.70 UAH on August 17.

Meanwhile, the euro rose by 10 kopecks, reaching 51.80 UAH compared to 51.70 UAH on the previous day. These changes reflect the ongoing fluctuations in exchange rates, which can impact various economic sectors and individual investors.

In its draft state budget for 2026, the government has set a calculated average annual exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar at 45.6 UAH per dollar.
