Ukraine's Hryvnia Strengthens Against Dollar and Euro on September 2

Ukraine's National Bank has announced a slight strengthening of the hryvnia against the US dollar and euro, marking the beginning of September with new currency benchmarks. On Wednesday, September 2, the official exchange rate for the hryvnia was published on the bank's website, showing that it had strengthened against both major currencies.

The dollar's exchange rate fell by 7 kopecks to 44.45 hryvnias from 44.52 hryvnias on the previous day, while the euro's rate dropped by 10 kopecks to 51.53 hryvnias from 51.63 hryvnias.

The government has projected an average annual exchange rate of 45.6 hryvnias per US dollar in the draft state budget for 2026.
