Ukraine's National Bank Updates Exchange Rates, Dollar Dips
The National Bank of Ukraine has updated its official exchange rates for July 30. The move has caused some market volatility, with the US dollar experiencing a slight drop and the euro seeing a small gain.
According to the bank's website, the dollar weakened by 5 kopecks, while the euro rose by 2 kopecks. The updated rates are as follows: 1 US dollar is now valued at 44.87 UAH (down from 44.92 UAH on July 29), and 1 euro is now valued at 51.08 UAH (up from 51.06 UAH on July 29).
The average rates in banks are also affected, with the dollar selling for between 44.51-45.16 UAH and the euro selling for between 50.85-51.50 UAH. Card rates at PrivatBank and Monobank have also been updated.
