The US 10-year Treasury note yield remained steady at around 4.77% on Tuesday, holding near three-year highs as investors awaited key inflation data due this week.

The upcoming inflation data is expected to provide clarity on the interest rate outlook ahead of the Federal Reserve's policy meeting next week, which could have a significant impact on markets.

Markets are currently pricing in a 60% probability that the US Federal Reserve will deliver a 25-basis-point rate hike next week following stronger-than-expected jobs data released on Friday.

The US economy added 162K jobs in August, exceeding expectations for a 56K increase, while employment figures for the prior two months were also revised slightly higher.
