US Disrupts Chinese Hacking Operation Targeting Sensitive Government Agencies
The US government has announced that it has disrupted a Chinese hacking operation that targeted several sensitive government agencies. The hackers, linked to two platforms called 'QScan' and 'QTRouter', broke into the US Justice Department, NASA, the Federal Reserve, and the US Senate.
The Justice Department issued a statement saying it had seized domains used by the two hacking platforms, which were part of the campaign. Beijing has consistently denied responsibility for hacking activity.
