US Dollar and Swiss Franc Consolidate Amid Strong Economic Data
The US Dollar (USD) and Swiss Franc (CHF) pair traded in a narrow range near 0.8050 during Asian hours on Thursday, following a 0.5% gain in the previous session.
The stability came as the US economy showed stronger-than-expected data, including a 0.2% month-on-month increase in July's Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) price index, which met expectations of a possible final Federal Reserve rate hike before year-end.
The ZEW Expectations index for Switzerland climbed to 12.1 in August 2026, marking its second consecutive positive reading and the second-highest level since early 2025.
