US Dollar Edges Higher Amid Rising Rates
The US dollar is experiencing a mostly firmer bias in trading due to rising US rates and a technically oversold short-term market. This is lending support to the greenback.
Although the Deputy Governor of the BOJ, Himino, appeared to suggest that Japan may raise interest rates next month, the dollar remains firm against the yen. Himino emphasized the need to stabilize core inflation near 2% and heed upside price risks more than ever before.
