US Dollar Index Dips Amid Slight Appreciation of Major Currencies
The US Dollar Index (USDX), which measures the dollar against six major currencies, experienced a minor decline of 0.12% on July 29th, closing at 101.417 in the late foreign exchange market.
According to Bitget's data, the New York forex market saw the euro rise against the US dollar, with one euro exchanging for 1.1387 US dollars, a slight increase from the previous day's 1.1368 US dollars.
The pound sterling also appreciated, trading at 1.3289 US dollars, matching the previous day's rate. In contrast, the Canadian dollar and Swedish krona both fell against the US dollar, with one Canadian dollar exchanging for 1.4105 US dollars (down from 1.4125) and nine Swedish krona worth approximately 1 US dollar.
The yen, on the other hand, saw a moderate increase in value, trading at 163.86 to the dollar, up from 163.78 the previous day.
