US Dollar Index Slumps to Two-Week Low Ahead of Key Inflation Data
The US Dollar Index (DXY) has been struggling to stay above the 99.00 mark, hitting a two-week low during the Asian session on Tuesday.
This decline marks the second straight day of losses for DXY and the fourth time in five days that it has fallen.
The index currently trades around 98.80, down 0.10% for the day, but remains above a three-month trough touched in August.
Traders are eyeing key US inflation data due to be released this week, which will provide crucial clues about the Federal Reserve's policy path and its impact on the dollar.
