US Dollar Selling Rate Remains Steady in Sri Lanka Despite Minor Fluctuations
The Sri Lankan Rupee has shown slight changes against the US Dollar across various commercial banks in Sri Lanka on September 7. However, despite these fluctuations, the selling rate of the US Dollar remains steady at Rs. 332.
Seylan Bank reported that the buying rate of the US Dollar is unchanged at Rs. 324.05, while the selling rate is also unchanged at Rs. 333.30. In contrast, NDB Bank witnessed a slight increase in both its buying and selling rates, rising to Rs. 323.70 and Rs. 332.70 respectively.
People's Bank and Commercial Bank of Ceylon maintained their previous rates for the US Dollar, with People's Bank's buying rate remaining at Rs. 324.20 and Commercial Bank's selling rate staying at Rs. 332.25. Sampath Bank saw a decrease in both its buying and selling rates, dropping to Rs. 324.25 and Rs. 332.25.
