US Dollar Slips Below 99 Amid BoJ Rate Hike Bets
The US Dollar Index (DXY) slipped below 99.00 on Wednesday, following rising expectations of a Bank of Japan rate hike.
This move pushed the DXY under its 200-day SMA and marked a continuation of the decline that began earlier in the week.
As markets await Friday's US jobs data, including Nonfarm Payrolls, the Unemployment Rate, and wage inflation numbers, investors are also keeping an eye on the Bank of Japan's potential rate hike.
