The US inflation rate has stabilized at 2.4% year-over-year in February, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

This marks a steady reading from January and indicates that underlying price pressures remain persistent, potentially building again in the near term.

Core inflation, which excludes volatile components like food and energy, rose 2.5%, driven by cost pressures in sectors such as housing and healthcare, according to Reuters.

The Personal Consumption Expenditures index, the Fed's preferred gauge, showed prices rising 0.4% in February, with annual inflation at 2.8% and core inflation at 3.0%.
