US Inflation Rate Eases Slightly Amid Ongoing Challenges
The US inflation rate decreased slightly in July, down to 3.4% from 3.5% in June, according to the Labor Department.
This decrease is attributed to a drop in gas and grocery prices, which fell 2.9% and 0.1%, respectively.
However, even with this decline, prices are still rising more quickly than average wages, posing challenges for consumers and businesses alike.
