US 'Operation Economic Outcast' Sparks International Condemnation
The Iranian Foreign Ministry has condemned the US 'Operation Economic Outcast' campaign as an international crime and a crime against humanity. The operation, launched on Monday, aims to isolate Iran from the global financial system by targeting its key economic lifelines, including oil, shipping, aviation, gold, technology, and digital assets.
The ministry accused Washington of using the US dollar as a tool to pressure other countries into aligning with its policies toward Tehran, violating national sovereignty and international law. The operation is described as 'US state terrorism against Iran and the world.'
Tehran has urged other countries not to enforce new round of US sanctions against it, calling them illegal and accusing Washington of trying to impose its will on independent states.
