USD/CHF Bulls Strong as Key Support Holds Above 50-Day SMA

The USD/CHF currency pair maintained its bullish structure on Thursday, with the 50-day simple moving average (SMA) acting as a key support level.

The dollar traded against the Swiss franc, staying above the 0.8820 area where the 50-day SMA is situated, indicating that buyers remain in control.

A decisive break above the recent swing high near 0.8920 could open the door toward the 0.9000 psychological barrier, which was last tested in late September.

The Swiss National Bank's willingness to intervene in currency markets to prevent excessive franc strength supports USD/CHF, and the interest rate differential favoring the dollar is likely to keep the pair supported in the medium term.
