USD/CHF Extends Winning Streak as SNB Holds Interest Rates Near Zero
The USD/CHF has extended its winning streak to six trading sessions, rising by 0.11% as the US Dollar holds firm against a basket of six currencies.
Bloomberg reported that the Swiss National Bank is expected to keep interest rates near zero until the end of 2027, which may continue to weaken the Swiss Franc both technically and fundamentally.
The technical outlook suggests that the path of least resistance for USD/CHF is upwards, with key resistance levels at 0.8200, followed by the June 19, 2025, peak at 0.8215.
If sellers push USD/CHF below 0.8150, it could exacerbate a move lower, with potential support levels at 0.8100 and the July 15 cycle low of 0.8034.
