USD/CHF Reversal Fears as Bearish Flag Holds
The USD/CHF currency pair saw a decline on trading sessions, bringing an end to its four-day rise. Despite this dip, it maintained a value above 0.8100 and closed with a loss of 0.12%. The price action continues to respect the bearish flag formation in place, suggesting that the immediate momentum may be slowing down.
The Relative Strength Index remains bullish but has flattened, indicating a pause in trading rather than an upward trend. On the upside, breaking above 0.8150 would likely shift focus to 0.8207 and then 0.8215 before reaching 0.8250 and 0.8300.
On the downside, initial support lies at the day's low of 0.8103, which could expose the 50-day Simple Moving Average at 0.8079. Below this level, 0.8035 comes into view before reaching 0.8000.
