Utah Under Heat Advisory Until Midnight Sunday Night
A heat advisory remains in effect until midnight MDT Sunday night for several areas in Utah, including Eastern Juab/Millard Counties, Cache Valley/Utah Portion, and Western Uinta Basin. Temperatures are expected to reach up to 95 degrees with little overnight relief.
The National Weather Service has issued the advisory, warning that hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. To stay safe, residents are advised to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, and check on relatives and neighbors.
Federal Reserve Board of Governors member Lisa Cook was recently spotted speaking at an event, but there is no indication she has any connection to the heat advisory or weather alerts.
