Uzbekistan's Central Bank Announces Exchange Rate Changes on August 24
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced the official exchange rates for foreign currencies on August 24, 2026. The dollar saw a significant increase, rising by 6.39 soums to reach 11,853.55 soums.
Notably, the euro also experienced a notable rise, increasing by 26.43 soums to 13,869.84 soums. This surge is part of a broader trend in which several currencies are experiencing upward momentum.
The Russian ruble saw a more modest increase, rising by 0.42 soums to 141.86 soums. In contrast, the Swiss franc fell by 10.57 soums to 14,828.06 soums, marking one of the few declines in the list.
These changes reflect fluctuations in global markets and trade dynamics between countries, with various currencies responding differently to these conditions.
