Uzbekistan's Central Bank Announces Exchange Rate Drops for Major Currencies

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced official exchange rates for foreign currencies on August 6, 2023. The announcement reveals fluctuations in exchange rates for various currencies. The US dollar experienced a significant drop of 55.49 soums to 11,886.72 soums.

Similarly, the euro fell by 25.83 soums to 13,717.27 soums. The Russian ruble dropped by 1.05 soums to 146.37 soums. The pound sterling decreased by 43.67 soums to 16,007.85 soums.

Other currencies also saw a decline in value, including the Japanese yen falling by 0.28 soums to 75.35 soums and the Swiss franc dropping by 52.17 soums to 14,687.66 soums. The Chinese yuan decreased by 7.04 soums to 1,761.23 soums.
