Vietnam's President Receives Key Figure from New Zealand - Vietnam Friendship Association
General Secretary and President To Lam received Mr. Steven Joyce, Acting Chairman of the New Zealand - Vietnam Friendship Association, upon his arrival in Auckland for a state visit to New Zealand.
The meeting took place on August 12 (local time) and marked the first activity within the framework of the State visit.
General Secretary and President To Lam expressed his pleasure at meeting Mr. Joyce and other members of the association, highlighting the warmth and closeness between the people of the two countries.
He praised the positive contributions and dedication of the leaders and members of the Association in promoting Vietnam - New Zealand relations, particularly in education, economy, agriculture, science, and technology.
The General Secretary emphasized that after over 50 years of establishing diplomatic relations, Vietnam - New Zealand relations have made significant developments, including upgrading to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2025.
