The benchmark 10-year Treasury yield rose nearly 20 basis points to 4.97%, contributing to the negative performance of many stocks.

Royal Bank of Canada led the decliners among megacap stocks, falling 2.91% week-over-week to $205.90.

Wells Fargo stood out as a notable gainer in the category, advancing 1.23% from the prior week to close at $90.29.
