Wall Street Rally Boosts Aussie Shares Ahead of Busy Earnings Day
Australian shares are expected to rebound on Thursday, following Wall Street's push closer to record highs overnight.
The strong results from artificial intelligence-linked companies and slightly softer US inflation data have boosted investor sentiment.
In the US, CoreWeave, Nebius Group, and Super Micro Computer led gains with surges of 19% or more after reporting stronger-than-expected quarterly earnings.
Nvidia and Micron Technology also advanced, along with other semiconductor stocks, as consumer prices increased just 0.1% in July and underlying inflation remained relatively contained.
