Warsh Completes Asset Divestiture, Valued Holdings Exceed $100 Million
Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh has completed his divestiture of all assets he pledged to sell before taking office, according to the latest disclosure filings from the U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE).
The ethics agreement compliance certification, signed by Warsh last Thursday and posted on the OGE website on Saturday, marks the completion of conflict-of-interest cleanup for one of the wealthiest officials in Federal Reserve history.
Warsh had previously submitted asset divestiture certifications to the OGE showing that he had sold the majority of the assets he committed to divest. The newly disclosed filing further confirms that all remaining holdings under the agreement have now been fully disposed of.
The final batch of disposed assets included investment products with undisclosed specific investment targets, with some assets valued at a minimum of $100 million.
