New Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh is under pressure to clarify his views on inflation and interest rates.

Warsh's approach to communication has been a departure from his predecessors, with him choosing to say much less about the economy and inflation. However, this approach has not sat well with many economists and Wall Street investors who are looking for clarity on how he plans to handle the stubbornly elevated inflation rates.

On Friday, Warsh will have an opportunity to address these concerns at the Fed's annual economic symposium in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Many are hoping that he will provide a clear signal on how he thinks the Fed should handle inflation and whether he would hike interest rates if it stays high.
