Stock market analysts are warning investors to be cautious this week as several global and domestic factors could significantly impact trading activities. According to Ajit Mishra, Senior Vice President of Research at Religare Broking Ltd, the West Asia conflict, crude oil prices, and US inflation data will be key drivers for the stock market.

The recent surge in Brent crude by over 8% and WTI crude by more than 9% has increased geopolitical risk premiums in global energy markets. Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money, stated that this increase is due to renewed US-Iran hostilities and concerns surrounding the Strait of Hormuz.

Investors are also keeping a close eye on foreign institutional flows, the rupee, crude oil prices, and domestic liquidity. Mishra added that global monetary policy, crude oil prices, and geopolitical developments will remain highly sensitive topics this week.
