Xryma Plc Unveils Regulated Euro Stablecoin XREUR for Cross-Border Payments
Nicosia-based Xryma Plc has announced the upcoming launch of its regulated euro stablecoin, XrymaCoin (XREUR). The token is designed to work like money and will be put into circulation on September 3, 2026.
XrymaCoin is a truly cross-border solution that challenges the way stablecoins are perceived today. It brings together key features of Xryma's Paidby Mastercard multicurrency Open Banking, SEPA Instant, and the European Central Bank's T2 RTGS. According to Nikogiannis (John) Karantzis, Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Xryma Plc, 'XrymaCoin has been designed from the ground up to be unlike any other stablecoin.'
XREUR will be issued to the public through a subscription-based model on the website www.xrymacoin.money. Custody and transfer features have already been notified to the Central Bank of Cyprus under Article 60.
