Yen and Dollar Drift on Iran Deal Concerns and Payroll Jitters
The yen and US dollar saw little movement in currency markets on Thursday as concerns about a proposed U.S.-Iran deal and jitters about upcoming U.S. payroll data kept traders cautious.
After weakening for two straight sessions, the yen was trading at around 157.71 per dollar in early trade, having given back some of its intervention gains from Monday when it touched 155.20 per dollar.
The euro and sterling were also little changed, with the euro trading at $1.1557 and sterling at $1.3469.
