Yen Holds Steady as Aussie and Kiwi Currencies Gain Ground

The yen held steady in Sydney trading on the morning of the 26th, maintaining its position within the ¥159 range against the US dollar. The exchange rate as of 8:30 a.m. local time stood at ¥159.16-21 per dollar, slightly weaker than the previous day's ¥159.11-12.

The Australian and New Zealand dollars demonstrated resilience in the Oceania market, showing gains against both the yen and the US dollar. The Aussie dollar climbed to ¥114.02-04 against the yen, while the kiwi rose to ¥95.12-13 against the yen.

Commodity-linked currencies continued to attract buying interest, supported by persisting risk-on sentiment. The euro edged higher against the yen, reaching ¥185.86-89 and strengthening against the US dollar to $1.1674-1675.
