The yield on the US 10-year Treasury note held steady at around 4.68% on Thursday, maintaining its advance from the previous session.

This came after the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged, despite a dissenting vote from three FOMC members who favored a rate hike.

Chair Kevin Warsh emphasized that the decision to keep rates steady should not be misinterpreted as policy inertia, and noted that markets would continue to chart their course based on incoming economic data.
