Yields Edge Lower Ahead of FOMC Minutes Release
Treasury yields retreated on Monday as investors eagerly await the release of the Federal Reserve's latest FOMC minutes, due out later this week.
The 10-year Treasury note yield, a benchmark for mortgages, auto loans, and credit card debt, dipped over 2 basis points to 4.6743%.
The 2-year Treasury note yield, sensitive to short-term Federal Reserve interest rate decisions, fell more than 1 basis point to 4.1542%.
The 30-year Treasury yield, typically reactive to geopolitical events, also decreased by over 2 basis points to 5.2445%.
