Zelenskyi in Canada: Strengthening Defense, Economy, and Energy Ties
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi has arrived in Canada for a three-day visit focused on defense, economy, and energy cooperation.
The trip started on September 9 and will conclude on September 11. During his stay, Zelenskyi will attend a Canadian cabinet meeting and address government members at a retreat in Banff, Alberta.
Discussions with the Canadian government will focus on strengthening defense, economic, and energy ties between Canada and Ukraine, as well as addressing the human cost of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
Zelenskyi also announced that he would meet with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney to discuss support for Ukraine's air defense and preparations for winter.
