$131 Billion Lifeline: Boeing Secures Massive F-15 Contract
Boeing has secured a massive US defense contract valued at $131.23 billion to support the F-15 Eagle Crest program, solidifying its role in producing and upgrading the long-serving fighter fleet.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract was awarded by the US Department of War on August 24, covering work for the Air Force, Air National Guard, and other Department of War customers.
The contract's ceiling value represents the maximum potential worth, rather than an immediate payment to Boeing. Individual orders can be placed during the ordering period as the government requires aircraft, modifications, equipment, or support services.
