$20 Million for June AI: Tackling Enterprise Bottleneck in AI Adoption
Salesforce veterans have raised $20 million in pre-Seed funding to tackle the enterprise bottleneck of AI adoption. The round is led by TIME Ventures, the investment arm of Salesforce CEO and founder Marc Benioff, with participation from prominent technology executives including Michael Dell.
The company, June AI, was founded by a team that previously worked on AI products at Salesforce after their conversational intelligence company Bonobo AI was acquired in 2019. The team spent five years inside Salesforce, gaining firsthand exposure to the challenges of implementing new technologies across complex systems and fragmented data environments.
June AI is targeting the difficulty of integrating AI capabilities into existing software systems that run large organizations. According to Grand View Research, the global system integration market is expected to reach $1.3 trillion by 2033.
The company's platform aims to automate parts of the work traditionally performed by forward-deployed engineers, implementation teams, and system integrators. It begins with process mining, analyzing how a business operates through its existing systems, identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing changes, and deploying AI solutions designed around specific workflows.
