$241 Million Contract: Boeing Wins Big for Navy Aircraft Repairs
The US Department of War has awarded Boeing Co. a $241.3 million contract for the repair of flight control surfaces used on Navy F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G aircraft.
The delivery order was issued under a basic ordering agreement from 2022, with work to be performed primarily in Jacksonville, Florida, accounting for 83% of the contract.
Boeing will repair nine different configurations of flight control surfaces for the Navy aircraft, with an expected completion date by September 2032.
