$3.1 Million Fine for Boeing Amid Safety Violations
Boeing has paid $3.1 million in fines to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) after admitting to widespread safety violations.
The fine was proposed by the FAA in September 2025 and paid in January of this year, according to a Reuters report on Wednesday.
The safety issues included actions related to the 2024 Alaska Airlines MAX 9 mid-air emergency.
Boeing has confirmed that it paid the fine, which has not been previously disclosed publicly.
