$3.5 Billion Pre-IPO Financing Talks Underway for AI Cloud Firm Nscale
Nscale, a London-based cloud computing firm focused on artificial intelligence, is in talks to raise up to $3.5 billion in pre-IPO financing from investors. The company is looking to sell as much as $1.5 billion of convertible notes to a group of investors, which will be sold at the equivalent of the IPO price minus a double-digit percentage point discount.
The conversion price will remain the same if the valuation reaches $30 billion or more. Nscale aims to secure around $2 billion in financing from Nvidia and is briefing investors that its total contract value is about $103 billion, following an agreement with Anthropic worth $45 billion.
The company estimates it could generate annual revenue of around $18.1 billion and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation of approximately $13.6 billion. These figures are for illustrative purposes only, not formal guidance.
