$3M Seed Funding for AskPolly's Social Media Research Platform
AskPolly, an AI-powered platform that turns social media conversations into market research, has secured $3 million in seed funding. The startup's self-serve platform strips out bots, influencers, and paid content, then builds representative samples based on census demographics.
The company aims to help businesses gauge what real audiences think without waiting weeks for a traditional survey. Over 200 companies, including McDonald's and Mastercard, are already using the platform for research spanning audience analysis and message testing.
AskPolly co-founder and CEO Erin Kelly says market research has not kept pace with online communication: 'Consumers are already sharing what they think online, but the loudest voices are not always representative.'
The funding will be used to expand product development and accelerate go-to-market efforts across the US.
