$400 Bathroom Makeover Adds Sophisticated Touches

Kelly von Weber gave her guest bathroom a makeover to match her mature style. She wanted something different from the original theme-y look, but had a strict budget of $400.

The couple did all the work themselves, which helped them stick to their budget. Kelly repainted the vanity with leftover paint from her master bedroom, using Sherwin-Williams' 'Bohemian Black'. She also added new brass knobs and an antique-style brass faucet for a sophisticated look.

Kelly chose removable wallpaper in a peacock feather print for the walls, but noted that it was tricky to install. A wool-and-feather wall hanging adds a unique touch, while the white shower curtain helps draw attention to the statement wall.
