$45 Billion: American Companies Fuel Turkmenistan's Economic Growth
The National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, revealed that economic projects implemented in Turkmenistan with the participation of American companies have a total value approaching $45 billion.
This significant milestone was achieved through hundreds of collaborations spanning multiple sectors, including fuel and energy, transportation, electric power, software, agriculture, and food. Major American companies like John Deere, General Electric, Case, Boeing, Coca-Cola, Sikorsky, and Caterpillar have been actively operating in the Turkmen market.
Berdimuhamedov emphasized that cooperation with the United States is consistently developing on a mutually beneficial and equitable basis. He highlighted the role of the Turkmen-American Business Council, established in 2008 at Ashgabat's initiative, as a significant instrument of bilateral partnership.
