$4.95M for Swiss Startup Exclaim Robotics to Automate Data Center Maintenance
Exclaim Robotics, a Swiss startup founded by former Microsoft researcher Helen Oleynikova, has secured $4.95 million in pre-seed funding to develop robots for AI data center maintenance.
The company's 'remote hands' automation platform will enable mobile autonomous robots to perform rack-side tasks such as cleaning and replacing optics, reconnecting copper cabling, and re-seating drives precisely.
Exclaim Robotics aims to offer a solution to the safety concerns posed by increased power densities in AI data centers, particularly with the transition to 800V DC in the next generation of AI racks.
Oleynikova's team has already made significant contributions to robotics research at Nvidia and ETH Zürich, and Exclaim is now hiring for engineering roles based in Zurich.
