5 Hidden Microsoft Word Tools You Need to Know
Microsoft Word users may be unaware of several useful tools that were removed from the ribbon in 2007. These features are still available, but they can only be accessed through customization options.
The five tools worth digging up include Speak, which reads your document out loud; AutoFormat, which fixes common formatting errors; full-screen print preview, which allows for editing capabilities before printing; Quick Print, which sends files straight to the printer without bottlenecks; and Reveal Formatting, which shows what's really going on with your formatting.
To access these features, users can go to the Customize Ribbon and Quick Access Toolbar menus. They can then place their own missing commands in the Quick Access toolbar.
