5 Simple Tweaks to Boost Google Pixel Battery Life
Google Pixel users who experience daily battery drain can make several tweaks to their phone's settings to improve performance. Parth, an expert in Android ecosystem and mobile technology, shares his findings after experimenting with various adjustments.
One of the key changes he made was switching the Preferred Network type from 5G to LTE, which reduced heat generation and battery drain. He also disabled adaptive connectivity, allowing his phone to stay connected to Wi-Fi instead of constantly switching between networks.
In addition to these settings changes, Parth turned off Always On Display (AOD) and replaced it with gestures that wake up the screen only when needed. He also disabled Now Playing, a feature that constantly listens for music, and used the Google Song search tile in Quick Settings instead.
Another tweak involved automating Dark Mode to switch on at 7 PM and off at 7 AM, saving energy by reducing white pixel usage during the day. Finally, Parth recommends checking the battery usage chart regularly to identify resource-intensive apps and close them as needed.
