$50 Million in Advance Tickets Sold for Avengers: Doomsday
Disney's upcoming film 'Avengers: Doomsday' has already generated $50 million in advance ticket sales, according to Disney Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Hugh Johnston.
The impressive figure is a testament to the enormous demand surrounding the next Marvel Studios event film, which brings together characters from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including the Fantastic Four and returning members of the X-Men.
Johnston revealed the milestone during the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference on September 9, where he discussed the strength of Disney's upcoming theatrical slate.
