$500K Warrant Suspect Arrested Near Home Depot in West Seattle
A suspect wanted on a $500,000 warrant was arrested near the Home Depot in West Seattle, according to police radio dispatch. The arrest occurred just steps from the Seattle Police Department's Southwest Precinct.
The warrant covered a multitude of crimes, including rape, classified as Class A felonies under Washington's Revised Code. These charges are punishable by up to life in prison and $50,000 in fines.
The proximity of the Home Depot to the police precinct has produced a string of dramatic incidents, including an officer-involved fatal shooting in March 2025 and a shoplifting suspect threatening to kill someone in April 2026.
