$550k Stolen from Hyperliquid User via Phishing Ad on Google Search
A Hyperliquid user reportedly lost $550,000 in USDC after interacting with a phishing website promoted through a Google search advertisement.
The user was directed to the phishing site after clicking on a paid Google ad, according to FlashRescue co-founder Darcy. The three recipient addresses that received the funds are publicly traceable on-chain and have been identified as 0x98b276...13C55, 0x93b6B2...d6D1, and 0x6fE314...B566.
The Hyperliquid protocol itself was not breached, but rather the user was targeted before interacting with the legitimate platform. The official support documentation for Hyperliquid warns users to verify full URLs and treat unknown wallet activity as a compromise.
