6 Windows Features Microsoft Wants You to Use But Shouldn't
Microsoft has enabled several features on Windows PCs by default, but some of them are not worth using, according to a recent article. One such feature is Fast Startup, which promises to speed up boot times after shutdowns. However, it can cause issues with updates, dual-booting, and hardware detection.
The hibernation file used by Fast Startup can take up several gigabytes of storage space, which can be a problem for those struggling with storage. Additionally, the feature doesn't work as effectively on PCs with SSDs since they boot quickly anyway.
Another feature that's not worth using is Copilot, Microsoft's AI tool that's integrated into various parts of Windows. While it's not entirely useless, it feels half-baked compared to other AI tools and takes up several gigabytes of storage space.
