60 Faculty Members Attend IBM SPSS Workshop at Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University

A three-day workshop on IBM SPSS statistical software was recently held at Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University (SBSSU) in Ferozepur. The event, which aimed to enhance the statistical and analytical skills of faculty members and research scholars, attracted around 60 participants. Prof. Suresh Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of SBSSU, conducted the workshop.

The workshop covered various contemporary statistical and data-analysis techniques, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). Participants received hands-on experience with IBM SPSS for data analysis, statistical modelling, prediction, and interpretation of research findings. Special emphasis was placed on integrating modern statistical and AI/ML techniques into academic research and evidence-based decision-making.

Prof. Suresh Sharma highlighted the importance of strengthening research capacity and equipping faculty members and scholars with practical skills in advanced statistical analysis and emerging technologies.
