A $68 million settlement has been reached in a class-action lawsuit against Google over its Google Assistant, which allegedly recorded personal conversations without prompting.

The lawsuit accused Google of recording conversations across multiple devices over a decade, but Google denies any wrongdoing.

If you purchased a qualifying Google device or used Google Assistant and lived in a home where your communications were recorded between May 18, 2016, and March 19, 2026, you may be eligible for a payment.
