$75M Boost for Infinimmune as It Advances Human Antibody Pipeline
Infinimmune, a biotechnology company, has secured $75 million in Series A funding to advance its human antibody pipeline. The financing was co-led by Regeneron Ventures and Playground Global, with several new and existing investors participating.
The funds will be used to prepare two lead candidates for atopic dermatitis, IFX-101 and IFX-201, for first-in-human studies expected to begin in 2027. The company's Anthrobody platform screens millions of single memory B cells across hundreds of targets to identify naturally paired human antibodies with therapeutic properties.
Infinimmune's approach uses its GLIMPSE antibody language models to guide candidate optimisation, targeting improvements in potency, specificity, half-life, and developability. The company has a partnership with Merck, which strengthens its human-first approach to antibody discovery and development.
